Throat Chakra + Meditation | Chakra Balancing | Yogatation

The #throatchakra is also called the #Vishuddhachakra. It's associated with the colour pale blue. It’s located in the neck, throat, thyroid, jaw, ears, voice, lungs, and arms. It's associated with the sense of hearing. It is responsible for communication, both internal and external. It's connected to creative self-expression, openness, independence, and inspiration too.

The Throat Chakra influences the relationship between the mind and body, resulting in a lack of understanding or denial of your own feelings.

The throat chakra helps you express your inner feelings, thoughts, and world freely and without fear. It connects you to divine inspiration as well as your intuition, independence, and creative expression. The fifth chakra is also linked to ether.

A disharmonious Throat Chakra leads to blocked communication between the mind and body, leading to a lack of understanding of your own feelings or denial of those feelings. No matter how deep your inner knowledge is, a blocked throat chakra can prevent you from expressing your feelings openly because of fear of judgement from others. As a result, you will be out of touch with your intuition.

I speak my truth. I express my soul. I listen to myself. I reflect on my thoughts and actions.

Throat Chakra Meditation

Start by laying down in a place where you feel comfortable and safe.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Imagine that you are laying in a large grassy field. There's nothing but you, grass, and a clear blue sky.

Allow the Earth to support and affirm you for a couple of breaths, then allow your body to lift off of the ground.

With each inhale, you become lighter and float a little higher into the sky. You feel comfortable knowing you are supported by the sweet air.

You are part of the boundless expansive sky. You feel open, clear, and free as the air around you.

Your heart feels expansive and fulfilled in this beautiful, light, free space. You are one with the sky and the sky is part of you. You are part of all that is and it is part of you.

When you're ready, allow yourself to become heavy again and slowly return to the grassy field.

Take a couple of grounding breaths there before opening your eyes.
